Hi Laxers:
As we discussed at our all league meeting, this month we welcome 3 new board members, say good bye to 3 members and reconfigure a bit to be ready for our busy 2009 season. We will all be in our new positions starting in Jan 2009.
We say good bye to Secretary Laurel Baker, Treasurer Chip Von Heill and Conference E president Chris Cahill. All 3 have been involved in the league for many years and have seen the league grow from just a handful of towns to the 70 or so we have now. On behalf of all of the Jersey girls we thank Laurel, Chip and Chris for their service and guidance.
The search committee thanks all who stepped up and volunteered and announces that we are happy to welcome 3 new board member trustees who bring with them a passion for the game and a great level of energy and activism. We look forward to working with them:

- Melissa Montefusco Chatham
- Lisa Tesoriero Waldwick
Finally, for the reshuffling Mark Coan of Mountain Lakes has agreed to take on the President's job (THANKS Mark!!!!!); JB Wilcox of Del Val will be Secretary, Susan Johnson, Millburn will be Treasurer and Jim Schaefer, Rock Den will take on the US Lacrosse Liaison duties. Otherwise, the 2008 Board members will stay with their positions for 2009. You can always find the contact info for the board at www.njjgll.org/contact.php.
Looking ahead to the 2009 season. We will open up our online registration for the coach clinics this week. For the first time we will have a pay online by credit card option for the coach clinics and some of our events. Stay tuned for registration details.
