Hi Laxers:
Here is a happy opening day story to share with all of you sent to us by the Del Val coaches:
Del Val opened it's season by hosting Flemington with games at all three levels. The games were fun and all the girls played hard. We saw a lot of good lacrosse, and a few things we need to work on.
One of Del Val's 7th grade girls happened to have her 13th Birthday on April 22nd, opening day. At the end of the game, Flemington's post-game cheer was loud and enthusiastic and included a resounding "Happy Birthday Hannah!" That was followed by a combined singing of "Happy Birthday" by BOTH teams' players, coaches, and parents. Then we ALL had Cupcakes!.
It was a very special opening day at Alexandria Park!
